The Lost City (Teyuna) is an Indigene sacred city therefore has a special energy and mystique that make it a magnificent place to clean your vital energy doing an adventure tour with our 100% indigenous guides. You can visit this magical place on an expedition of 5 days. During the journey that will take you towards the Lost City you will appreciate the richness of wildlife that the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta has to offer. Thanks to the extensive knowledge of the indigenous guides who maintain their traditions and possess ancient knowledge you will observe and value the Nature around.

The Lost City is known in the indigenous area as Teyuna or Tehizuna, and possesses great spiritual importance for the people and communities of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Depart from Santa Marta at 8:30 a.m. Lunch in Machete Pelao after trekking of 7.6 Km to the first camp site. There will be time to swim in a river of crystal water.
Day 2: The group leaves the camp site to start a 7.3 km trek. Visit to the Muteyzhi Indigenous community. Spend the night at the camp site cabaña Mumake.
Day 3: After breakfast a 7.2 km trek starts to get to Paraíso Teyuna camp site. Spend the night at the foot of Teyuna and appreciate the wild life of the Sierra Nevada.
Day 4: After breakfast start climbing 1200 steps to get to The Lost City. Meet the Mamo (spiritual leader) and enjoy this sacred place. After lunch it´s time to descend to the Cabaña Wiwa where the camp site is located.
Day 5: In the morning trek to go back to Machete Pelao. Visit a small natural water fall. Return to Santa Marta after lunch.
