BOOKING / CANCELLATION POLICIES FOR TOURS AROUND COLOMBIA
P.1. – To guarantee the reservation of the tour service must be paid in advance a minimum of 50% of the total value of the tour and the balance can be paid in cash at the beginning of the tour (First to second day in Bogota). Any other tour packaged booked to be started from another city has to be paid with the full amount.
See our refund amounts for cancellations made during the following terms:
- If customer request to cancel the tour package 45 days or more in advance we offer the refund of 90% of the 50% of the total amount of the tour.
- If customer request to cancelthe tour package from 44 days to 20 days before the date of the booked tour we offer the refund of 20% of the 50% of the total amount of the tour.
- If customer request to cancel the tour package 19 days or less we won´t make any refund.
We do not guarantee the full porcentaje return of each of the previous terms if third-party providers do not make to us the respective return of the paid service.
Therefore, we exonerate ourselves from the responsibility of not being able to return the full amount according to each previou term informed in the our cancellations pólices. Due we are also subject to the cancellation policies of third parties such as Hotels and airlines.
P.2. – If the customer pays a lower value than 50% of the total cost of the tour, we won´t guarantee a complete satisfactory development service.
P.3. – CANCELLATION BY FORCE MAJUARE: We consider force majuare the following: Airport closures by prevention of terrorism or preventions of epidemics and pandemics, including restriction or closures produced by COVID 19. On these previous cases we will make as much possible to refund the total of the paid amount. The refunding time could vary a lot according of when cancellation is informed. However we do not guarantee the full refund since cost of operations and providers could be made already and some could not be easily refunded totally.
Bogotravel tours won´t make refunds by client cancellations under external reasons as visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess, flights cancellations by other reason no related of those informed previously, flight changes or non-refundable flights.
P.4. –After the customer have booked and paid the deposit of 50% for a tour of a group of people and then the client cancels the booking for one or more persons in the group the value of the tour may change to higher or lower according to the charactheristics of the tour. So we strongly advised be ensure the correct number of passengers that will travel.
P.5. – If the customer decided to pay us the 100% of the total cost of the tour and after be paid the full cost the client cancels the tour we will refund the 50% of the total cost of the tour less the expenses caused during the transaction of your payment.
P.6. – If the customer book a package where the tour does´t starts in Bogota we will have to request the payment of the full amoun of the tour (100%) in advance since between the first and second day of the itinerary the tour should be alredy paid.
P.7. – For cases in which the client must make cancellations during the development of the tourist package due to changes in flight schedules. We will consider the possibility of being able to return up to 50% of the total value of the costs and services reserved for the same day affected by the change.
P.8 – Changes or cancellation by us:
We may cancel a trip at any time before departure, subject to our depth analisis before this cancelation be informed. We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, posibilites of clousures by a pandemic, natural disasters, political instability or other external events If it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. If we cancel your trip, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date and tour or receive a full refund. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside of our reasonable control, refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.
