BOOKING / CANCELLATION POLICIES FOR LAYOVER TOURS IN BOGOTA.

 

 1- If flights itineraries are on time: In case the client does not appear at the meeting point at the agreed time, Bogotravel Tours wait up to 45 minutes for the client to start the tour. However along the first 45 minutes we will try to get in touch with the passenger to find it. (we will follow up your flight to be sure it isn’t delayed).

 2 – The starting time of the tour is set with the customer from the agreed hour of pick up service, so If you show up after the agreed time, this time of waiting will be counted as part of the tour (Even if your flight is delayed).

 3 – For booking this tour you only have to pay in advance 20% of the total cost of the tour and the balance when you be picked up.

 4 – In case of cancellation Bogotravel tours will not refund the deposit amount of (20%). But If the passenger has paid the total cost of the tour will be refunded 80% of the total cost of the tour (Even If your flight has a long delay).


For flight cancellations or itineraries changes made by the airline:

Only in case of flights´s cancellations made by the same airline and reschedules or date changes. In this cases this information must be true and verifiable with proof of the same cancellation as; (Photos of the email sent by the airline or screenshots of the cancellation inform. The following cancellation policies will be applied: 

 1 – For cancellations or date changes informed more of 72 hours (3 days) prior the beginning of the layover tour: will be refund the total amound paid by the passenger. Note: Any cancellation report has to be send and informed by email to reserve@bogotraveltours.com

 2 – For cancellations or date changes informed more among 25 to 71 hours (from 2 to less of 3 days) prior the beginning of the layover tour: will be refund 50% of the deposit which is (of 20%) or will be refunded (90%) If the passenger has paid the total amount. Note: Any cancellation report has to be send and informed by email to reserve@bogotraveltours.com 

 3 – For cancellations or date changes informed more among 0 to 23 hours prior the beginning of the layover tour: Won´t be refunded the deposit which is (of 20%). If passenger has paid the full amount of the tour we will refund the 80%.  Note: Any cancellation report has to be send and informed by email to reserve@bogotraveltours.com 

 4 – For cancellations or date changes of layover tours which includes Hotel and lodging: The 50% of paid amount corresponds to the costs of Hotel and lodging, so this percentage won´t be refunded doesn´t matter the report date of the cancellation the another 50% of the paid amount could be refundable according to the previous policies.

The transaction taxes or extra values incurred by your payment of the reservation or costs for the payment of the refund won´t be part of refund value.  

For refunds will be done through PayPal platform and for the cancellation # 1 will be made to the passenger credit card .

For customer who has paid the deposit (of 20%) remember the balance of the Layover tour has to be paid when you be picked up and transfer to our office from where you will visit the first attraction (Historic center or Monserrate hill according to the itinerary). 

 5 – We won´t assume the taxes made from payments transactions.
